It's expected to be a sell-out gig and one of the most significant music events in Ireland's West for years, with 26,000 fans flocking to the Salthill Stadium to hear all the international hits live from 'Where is the Love' to 'Shut Up, 'I got a feeling' 'Let's get it started' and 'Boom Boom Pow'.
Six Grammy Awards, 35 million album sales, nine number ones, Black Eyed Peas are one of the biggest acts in the world right now, and the appetite for live music is there more than ever for music fans who have been craving the return of outdoor summer events.
The lead singer will.i.am will be joined by rappers Taboo and J.Rey Soul and apl.de.ap. Like other artists, the band adapted to the recent pandemic and were grounded but kept going online with virtual gigs.
Now back touring rapper and innovator will.i.am has spoken of how "it's going to be an amazing experience to get in front of live audiences again."
